A system, not just a product.

CHOIS (Connective Hardware for Open Integrated Structures) is a modular joint system. Print the joints, buy wooden dowels at any hardware store, and build furniture that fits your life.

01

Print the Joints

Download STL files and print on any FDM printer. Works with any common FDM machine.

02

Source the Dowels

Standard wooden dowels — available at any home center worldwide. 1 inch, 30mm, or 32mm diameter.

03

Build and Expand

Assemble without tools. Add new modules as your needs grow. Every piece is compatible with every other piece.

Beyond CHOIS.

3D printing + wood — not just furniture. These are original interior designs from the same workshop.

Common questions.

Do I need a 3D printer?

Yes, the CHOIS joint files are designed for FDM 3D printers. Any common printer (Bambu, Creality, Elegoo, Prusa, etc.) works. A physical kit option is planned for the future.

Where do I buy the wooden dowels?

Any home center or hardware store. In Japan: Cainz, Kohnan, Joyful Honda. In the US: Home Depot, Lowe's. We support 25mm (1"), 30mm, and 32mm diameter dowels.

Can I sell furniture made with CHOIS?

The Personal Plan is for personal use only. The Merchant Partner plan ($25/mo early bird) grants a commercial license and lists you as an official CHOIS Maker.

I already have the Starter Kit. Do I need the free CHOIS Mini Kit too?

The CHOIS Mini Kit is a separate, smaller-scale system designed for desk or shelf use. The Starter Kit covers full-size furniture. They share compatible accessories and are part of the same CHOIS system.

What's in the free CHOIS Mini Kit exactly?

STL files for the CHOIS Mini cone base, a round tray, and a 24mm adapter for Japanese standard rods. Free when you sign up with your email. Additional accessories (pen tray, inner tray, smartphone stand, etc.) are available separately.

Which wooden rod size should I use?

The CHOIS Mini base is designed for 1-inch (25.4mm) rods — standard in the US. 25mm rods (EU) fit without an adapter. In Japan, use the included 24mm adapter with standard 24mm rods from Cainz or Royal Home Center.
